That's fantastic work thanks Keith - I'm really looking forward to using Beanstalkd as I've been "playing" with ActiveMq so am curious to go from one end of the spectrum, eg enterprise ready persistance to small light & fast resident daemon. I've got my money on Beanstalkd at this point - but will be building my app abstractly enough to implement any queuing mechanism as needs change.
Will download the latest GIT & compile - wil let you know fi I have issues.
