You can get the 1.4 version with the fix from Keith's repository at: http://repo.or.cz/w/beanstalkd.git Specifically, you want this one: http://repo.or.cz/w/beanstalkd.git?a=snapshot;h=12f05f623a44f990a1b2de5ff7d5e8dbac90a67f;sf=tgz You will see he's been busy commiting more fixes, hence the reason why (I suppose) he's delaying the release of v. 1.4.1. Then you compile it yourself and you are ready to go. P.S.
