I'm very confused as to how persistence works in beanstalkd, our queue is currently going up and down but averaging around 25,000 jobs (sometimes hit's 45,000, sometimes drops to 20,000). The binary logs however seem to be ever increasing in disk space used. Due to the rate at which new jobs are added, and their size, we're seeing anywhere from 1-3Gb of usage per hour even though old jobs are completing.
The result of all of this is eventually our VPS box dies and beanstalkd won't accept any new jobs unless we free up space.
