This looks like a problem with the build system. Maybe it requires gmake. I get the impression that the vast majority of beanstalkd users are on either Linux or Mac OS X. If a FreeBSD user can provide me with a patch to fix this, I'll gladly apply it, but I don't want to hold up the release. > Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop amd64 on VMware - libevent-dev "1.3e-3" was > available (beanstalkd requires libevent 1.4.1 or later, this is > included with 9.10 karmic/10.04 lucid). > Installed libevent 1.4.13 from source, beanstalkd ./configure and make > check were fine after this, maybe add a documentation note (i.e. 9.10 > and above only are supported out of the box). Okay. I don't yet state anywhere which OSes are or aren't supported, but I do say that we depend on libevent 1.4. Hopefully that is sufficient. kr -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "beanstalk-talk" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
