That's interesting; I daemonize beanstalk from the startup scripts. How do you recommend I do that, if not with -d? Most daemons can take an option to write a pidfile; having an option which also writes a portfile would be lovely for my use case :) sil -- New Year's Day -- everything is in blossom!
