I'm running beanstalkd 1.8 in my production environment, and I'm encountering a weird problem.
Beanstalkd runs fine for a few days, producing at most two binlogs. We don't bury jobs or run long ready queues, so it should never run long binlogs. However, suddenly the number of binlogs jumps to a hundred or more, and the server stops responding to connections. Deleting all the binlogs and restarting restores functionality. The binlogs are being written to an NFS mount for HA purposes. Any clues as to what's happening or how I can figure out what's happening? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "beanstalk-talk" group.
