You'll need to "chkconfig beanstalkd on" (assuming Linux) or 
'beanstalkd_enable="YES"' (*BSD), depending on how you named your 
init.d/rc.d script and what runlevel you set it to. But yes, it should 
automatically start when you reboot (you should always try it out to make 
sure, of course). Look at existing init.d scripts that you like and copy 
one that works well.
