In the tradition of all books by Scieszka and Smith, although it is perfect
for ages 6-10, adults will get a smile too from the off-beat humor and weird
predicaments in which the Time Warp Trio find themselves. These books are
similar to the Magic Tree House books but can be for a little more
experienced reader with more text per page. Approx 75 pages each. Watch the

1: The Not So Jolly Roger: Once again, three friends are sent back in time
by a magic book and they find themselves prisoners of the evil pirate
Blackbeard., Sam, Joe, and Fred (a.k.a. "the Time Warp Trio") travel through
time and accidently end up on Bluebeard's ship. The boys get nervous when
they notice that the pirate spends all his time singing "16 men on a dead
man's chest" and wondering how to get that number up to 17. Illustrated with
b&w drawings. ...
2: The Good, The Bad, and the Goofy: The Time Warp Trio find themselves in
the Wild West of yesteryear, rubbing elbows with cowboys and Indians., The
third book in the Time Warp Trio series. Sam, Joe, and Fred travel through
time and visit the Chisholm Trail in 1868, where they escape from stampedes,
survive a flash flood, and endure being kidnapped. Illustrated with b&w
drawings.
3: 2095: The fifth book in the Time Warp Trio series. Joe, Sam, and Fred
travel into the future to the year 2095, where they discover a world that is
policed by polite yet persistent robots and where pizza costs $150 a slice.
Illustrated with b&w drawings., While on a field trip to New York's Museum
of Natural History, Joe, Sam, and Fred travel one hundred years into the
future, where they encounter robots, anti-gravity disks, and their own
grandchildren
4. Your Mother was a Neanderthal: In this adventure of the Time Warp Trio,
Sam, Joe, and Fred find themselves in the Stone Age. As they escape such
dangers as a saber-toothed tiger, a woolly mammoth, and a tribe of
cavewomen, the boys wonder if they will be able to get back home.
Illustrated with b&w drawings., The Time Warp Trio find themselves in the
middle of an adventure in prehistoric times, where cave art is a form of
graffiti and rock-music takes on a whole new meaning
5: Summer Reading is Killing Me: Sam, Fred, and Joe--the Time Warp
Trio--find themselves face-to-beak with a giant, 266-pound chicken ... who,
unfortunately, looks hungry. As the chicken begins to chase them, the boys
realize with horror that they are smack-dab in the middle of Daniel
Pinkwater's The Hoboken Chicken Emergency ! How did they get there? Fred
accidentally stuck the school's summer reading list between the pages of
"The Book"--a time-warping, green-mist-expelling book that triggers time
travel in all of Jon Scieszka's well-loved Time Warp Trio books.
6: Tut, Tut: A delightful children's story about Ancient Egypt and time
travel where the trio find themselves in the middle of hieroglyphic high
jinks.
