Hi Everyone!
I got alot of responses about this. From what I can find and from what I
have been suggested by all of you, you can not print and BUY media mail labels
from USPS.com. At least there is no way that I can find.
I was also suggested to download Shipping Assistant. I did do that and print
a label, but could not figure out how to pay for it. So that was very
confusing for me. Maybe I didn't clarify that I wanted to purchase them too.
The best response so far that I got and that does work for me at least is to
use Paypal shipping. This, of course, is a great option if you have a Paypal
account and customers pay you through there. This works well for me because it
does save me a bit of money on delivery confirmation and having to drive 8
miles one way into town. 16 miles is almost a gallon of gas for me. So this
save me alot of money.
Also, the post office really hasn't been of much help. I have asked a few
different post offices recently and none of them had any idea what to do on the
internet. Even the postmasters. I don't blame them though, it's not their
area. But one guy kept telling me that I could go to USPS.com and print and
purchase media mail labels/postage and get free delivery confirmation. Well, I
have yet to find that. He or the postmaster there had no idea how to access it.
