is the 1990 Peregrine reprint in a red cloth hardback cover.This was
a limited edition subscription reprint of 110 copies, of which this
is copy #103. In excellent, gift-giving condition.

Modern Dogs (Terriers). New Edition, Rawdon Lee, 1896. $75.00 That I
can see all the tissues are still on the pictures. Textblock is
straight and tight. Corners lightly bumped,Yellowing consistant with
its age. Some light damage to top and bottom of spine, not affecting
the textblock. There is a typewritten sheet inserted with text. on a
letterhead of Paul R. Willemsen of Scottsdale, AZ.
I don't know if it is notes or an errata sheet.

The Complete Afghan Hound, Miller and Gilbert Jr., $5.00, red
cover, Top one inch of the spine is chewed but the textblock is firm
and straight. A good reference copy.

The Complete Golden Retriever, Getrude Fischer, $7.00, aqua cover,
some soiling on spine and cover, slight "old book smell", a good
reference book.

The Show Dog by H. W. Huntington, 1902, $18.00, soiled cover, rear
gutter spliting and needs a bit of achival tape. Otherwise, the text
lock is adequate and adheres to the cover, needing only minor repair.
All the pages are there. This book is like an early version of the
AKC Dog Book. It features named photos of the breeds of the day with
descriptions plus breed specific *comments*. There are a couple
chapters on treating the dog for ailments, plus a nice dictionary of
technical terms, seful in deciphering the text of the older classic
dog books. A good reference copy of a classic dog book.
