about the artist"  living history, 1989, First American Edition, $10

A SHORT HISTORY OF ART, large hardback, 9 x 12, this is a recent 2006 edition 
in like new condition, and it sells for $80 in stores, it includes Art from the 
Ancient World( Egyptian, Ancent near Eastern, Aegean, Greek, Etruscan, Roman), 
Middle Ages (Byzantine, Early Christian, Romanesque, Gothic),  Renaissance 
through Rococo (Early Renaissance, High Renaissance Late Renaissance, 15th 
century and 16th century, Baroque in Italy and Spain, Flanders,Holland, France 
and England, Rococo), the Modern World (newclassicism, romanticism realim, 
impressionism, post-impressionism, symbolism, art nouveau abstraction, post-war 
to post modern 20th century architecture), and more, timelines, beautiful color 
art and text, 681 pp, does not seem "short" to me in any sense- very thorough!
