Steve,
Julie Zhuo noticed change 56616 56616 steveh Removing README.txt from the Dashboard sample to avoid duplication with the live site. Adding README.txt to the main samples folder, telling users to go to the live site for all samples info. (Will re-evaluate the location of the samples info for Beta: should the canonical info be on the live site, or in the sample directories?) deleted /incubator/beehive/branches/v1/alpha/samples/PetStoreDashboard/README.tx t modified /incubator/beehive/branches/v1/alpha/build.xml added /incubator/beehive/branches/v1/alpha/samples/README.txt She believes that is in the alpha branch and should go in. Do you agree with her? Hi all: Just to confirm, fixing the current doc bugs will *not* effect the alpha branch. -----Original Message----- From: Heather Stephens Sent: Monday, November 08, 2004 8:13 AM To: Beehive Developers Subject: Pre-check: Are we ready to vote on our Alpha? Hey all. In order to get to a release by Friday for ApacheCon, we were driving to begin a vote naming our release candidate as the alpha today closing by Thursday EOD. The rev # we are currently working with as an RC is #56530. Goal/NonGoals for our V1Alpha are here --> http://wiki.apache.org/beehive/V1Alpha We have 5 open bugs assigned to V1 Alpha --> http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?mode=hide&reque stId=10615 I believe all of these bugs can be fixed on the project site and do not impact the release candidate in the branch. Steve can you confirm please? There are a few new bugs that are currently not homed to a particular milestone. Some have been filed since we chose our release candidate. Can folks take a look today and raise a red flag if you think any of these need to be fixed in order to meet our alpha goals and ship? http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?mode=hide&reque stId=10618 Barring any new ship-killer problems, I will send the vote mail at midnight GMT (5pm MST/4pm PST) today. Thanks. H.
