Eddie O'Neil resolved BEEHIVE-503:
----------------------------------
Assign To: Alejandro Ramirez (was: Eddie O'Neil)
Resolution: Fixed
This is fixed with SVN 160494. The IBehaviorConsumer interface changed to
accept an Object typed value and the <behavior>'s "value" attribute now accepts
Object.
> netui behavior tag should accept Object as a value
> --------------------------------------------------

> Key: BEEHIVE-503
> URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEEHIVE-503
> Project: Beehive
> Type: Bug
> Components: NetUI
> Versions: V1
> Reporter: Eddie O'Neil
> Assignee: Alejandro Ramirez
> Fix For: V1
>
> The <netui:behavior> tag is used to affect the behavior of a parent JSP tag
> without having to have a JSP tag attribute to do so. The reason for this is
> so that NetUI JSP tags can expose clean APIs but still have advanced
> configuration options.
> Currently, the "value" attribute of the <netui:behavior> tag is typed String,
> and this prevents handling arbitrary Object types in tags that accept
> behaviors. Before Beehive 1.0, this should change to support Object.
