Sound Check is Apple proprietary form of ReplayGain. I was wondering if beets supported it. I use beets to do ReplayGain and am amazed at how easy it was to add ReplayGain to all my songs with two commands and some time.
iTunes calculates and applies Sound Check, when you add tracks to it. so it's not a have to have feature. But it would speed up iTunes imports if the Sound Check data was already there.
