Ubuntu 7.04 seems to have Squeak with a 3.8 image available.

However, because I occasionally build my own VMs, I prefer to keep
everything related to a particular project in the same directory - VM,
plugins, image, sources. By not installing Squeak in /usr/local (or some
other global place) I know that my VM isn't pulling in plugins from
elsewhere.
