I sympathize with your problem, but please, you and everyone else on this list - don't do this. This list is an experiment to see if Perl experts can help beginners in Perl without the usual flaming of questioners who haven't undertaken basic research that happens on the newsgroups. We've agreed to stretch far enough to tolerate that much. If the list becomes a place to answer questions that have nothing to do with Perl, too many of the people who can answer the Perl questions will just leave in disgust, and the experiment will have failed.
