I am trying to find a solution to a problem I have while in plain old DOS.
I have a batch file that cleans out the c:\windows\temp directory upon
start up. I would like to make it all automated with no user intervention
and that is where I run into a problem. Eudora seems to want to store any
message in the Out box in c:\windows\temp, so if I have a crash in windows
or I reboot before I send email I would wipe the files. I have downloaded
the djgpp version of perl and I can do basic "hello World" stuff so I know
it's working.
My question is where do I get started with DOS file create modified etc
timestamps? What I want to do is move any eudora files to another
directory if they have the same created date as today. Eudora stores these
files with the first three letters of MIM and the last as .TMP so if the
timestamp idea can't be done I can at least copy all Eudora related files
somewhere else and go about wiping the temp directory.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Steve
