Programming Perl is really quite good.  Tons of info about the internals
...Chapter 5 right now for me ...lots to go.

Perl in a Nutshell is a good desk side reference once you have a handle on
the language.

I hear the Cookbook is also really good.

"If your bookshelf isn't full of perl, you don't know the language" ;)

To beginners community

What book(s) do you consider the best for gaining
experience in using Perl.
I have been a visual basic programmer, and dabbled
with C++, but Perl seems to pull the best of all of
these tools into 1, plus the pay is not bad for Perl
developers.


Anxious to learn.
