People, when a topic/thread is close, this means you *do NOT post to the list
on it again, ever*. This is not the proper forum for this discussion, and if
you cannot show restraint from replying to the list as a whole, as opposed to
the few who are taking part in the OT talk, then you may have posting rights
removed.
The beginners list isn't to voice your political, theological, or any other
types of opinions... unless it directly has to do with the Perl language, or
writing Perl. In general, if your post begins with:
"I know this isn't the right list for this...."
or
"I know this is off topic, but..."
You probably shouldn't send it. When in doubt, ask one of the keepers of the
clue-bats, before posting.
