It's for every sort of text file. Be it TeX document, XBM, plain text,
perl source, C source, assembler, HTML, Pascal... etc.

Merging works with all, diffs, etc. etc.

I use it for everything I do, be it my rc files, web site, work, thesis,
whatever... You should find it fine.
