I'm currently trying to install a module for
ActiveState Perl. I'm running W2K.
I've attempted to use PPM, but am having little
success so far. I've set the environment variable for
my proxy server, and have no problem starting PPM.
But I get no results when I do a search, and every
attempt to download a module I get the following:
Error installing package 'xx': Could not locate a PPD
file for package xx
I've checked the ActiveState repository, and the one's
I've tried are there. Did I miss a step somewhere?
Or would it be easier to grab the module(s) off CPAN
and then try and install them (if that's even
possible)?
