First of all, this is my first email to the list, so I apologize if I have mailed to the wrong address. I am working on the 3rd practice excercise in chapter 6 of O'Reilly's 'Learning Perl'. The excercise calls for me to use the printf function to print formatted text. I have been unable to find a comprehensive list of formatting options for use with this function. Does anyone have a link to one? Also, how do I access the perl manpages from the command line. Any help is greatly appreciated.
