Can you define 'strangely' a little more descriptively?
I'll take a guess and suggest you check to make sure that Term::ReadKey
and Term::ReadLine are both installed since those modules are responsible
for the command history and such. Maybe do an 'install Bundle::CPAN'
and see if that helps.
