Hi,

For a couple of reasons I want to re-install Perl:

-- I need to see if I can do it at one go, since I put the the original installation together over a period of months. -- I'm hoping that, by also reinstalling all my CPAN modules, I may cure an increasing amount of flakiness with CPAN.

FWIW, I'm running Cygwin on a Windows Server 2003 machine. I hope that's largely irrelevant.

My questions are:

-- How does one remove one's existing version of Perl?
-- I ran autobundle to get my CPAN inventory. Is re-creating the CPAN modules really as simple as telling CPAN to reinstall from the autobundle inventory .pm?

(I would pose the CPAN-related questions to the CPAN mailing list but its server hasn't acknowledged my request to join in over three hours.)

Thanks for tips, caveats, and so on.

Chap
