Hi List,
I have posted my problem in running scripts without
going to the path where perl.exe resides.
I would really really appreciate in anyone could
highlight any changes to make while installing Perl on
Windows 98, esp. those using Perl on this platform.
BTW, what do they mean by making sure the "PATH
environment variable for a directory containing the
perl executeable". Care to explain to me since I can't
find any information on this. Mostly the explanation
are for Windows NT and 95.
Lastly, do you recommend me running Perl on Windows
98. I mean, I'm doing a project that needs usage of
several Perl Modules such as WWW::Search,
HTML::Parser. Kindly highlight the possible problems
that I might encounter based on ur experiences.
Looking forward for a fast reply and thanks in
advance.
Rgds,
