1. Create a folder for trying Perl: md C:\TRY
(In Linux: mkdir ~/try )

2. Create a file in your try folder called template.pl and load the
following in it. When you want a new Perl script, copy it to the new name.

#!/usr/bin/env perl

use strict;
use warnings;

use Data::Dumper;

# Make Data::Dumper pretty
$Data::Dumper::Sortkeys = 1;
$Data::Dumper::Indent   = 1;

# Set maximum depth for Data::Dumper, zero means unlimited
$Data::Dumper::Maxdepth = 0;

# place new code here

__END__

Programming is as much about organization and communication
as it is about coding.

I like Perl; it's the only language where you can bless your
thingy.
