i think we need to come up with a set of guidelines for this list. this would be autoposted a few times a week and possibly to every new address seen. it would cover things to do before posting (check the faq, etc.), how to post (bottom posting, style, posting all your relevent code, etc.), list decorum, etc.
a good example is for the comp.lang.perl.misc group on usenet. it was authored by tad maclellan and edited with the help of many group regulars. we can use much of this as a start and tailor it to the specific needs of the beginner's list. http://www.rehabitation.com/clpmisc.shtml your thoughts? uri -- Uri Guttman ------ u...@stemsystems.com -------- http://www.sysarch.com -- ----- Perl Code Review , Architecture, Development, Training, Support ------ --------- Gourmet Hot Cocoa Mix ---- http://bestfriendscocoa.com --------- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: beginners-unsubscr...@perl.org For additional commands, e-mail: beginners-h...@perl.org http://learn.perl.org/
