Just a note: HTML::Template is old and broken - the last release was at January, 2007 and there are 17 open bugs on the request tracker. Furthermore, I personally found it confusing, incomplete and idiosyncratic. You should use Template-Toolkit ( http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/dist/Template-Toolkit ; http://template-toolkit.org/ ) instead.
