I believe perlform is used to format text in pages, using fixed-width (in 
characters) columns, keeping track of pages, etc. Useful for printing to a 
line printer or sometimes to the screen. I studied it in order to convert 
Test::Harness->Test::Run away from it.

Most people don't need to know perlform and the minority who do should use 
Perl6::Form instead as recommended by Perl Best Practices:
