I have a problem with spacing. For a couple of years I've been using the
same script that retrieves data (being addresses for labels) from a
database and then prints it to a .ps file. This file is then printed.
Now, although neither the script nor the printer has been changed,
suddenly all text has been shifted 2 mm to the left, so some of the data
is now printed off-label. Before I start changing the script, could
somebody maybe explain the cause of this shifting?

Has the Perl version changed? The PostScript::Simple version?

I would first check what happened to the printer,
maybe you put a slightly different size of paper in,
or maybe its defaults were reset, etc.

Then check how the .ps file is sent to the printer,
and how that possibly has changed. Buts most likely
the issue is in the previous step.
