Yeah I was amused... sorry you weren't. Perhaps you don't have a sense of humor idk. No...perl isn't like every other program language ever...if so, why are you using it and not something else. Because you like the way it works, it's syntax, whatever...you like it or you probably wouldn't be so defensive. I like it too, but the comment "It's Perl. The obfuscation is built in" was funny... the perl journal use to have "obfuscated code contests" if i remember correctly.
