Ok, I give up. How do I install a new module? I am using Activeperl 5.6 (Build 631) and have downloaded a module Win32:AdminMisc. This is not one of the modules you can install simply using ppm. There are some instruction on installing this module but they do not work for this version of perl, different directory structures etc..
The readme file suggests a few options, such as locating the header files for my version of perl and recompiling the sourcecode of the module. Is this the best way and if so, are there any utils to do this. Or (again) if there aren't any, how exactly do I do this. Does the version of the C compiler matter or anything like that? Any help in this would be much appreciated. Simon -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
