I find that subtleties like Paul's are lost on the majority of users and
programmers alike out there.  I prefer the more direct method of:

I've thought about that at times...

clearly you have never seen me take myself out and
have an unpleasant staff meeting with myself when
i do that and the SILLY code whines at me....

hence my habit of avoiding this - but I may
adopt it for those cases when I plan to be a
PerlFascist.....

then I can have orthodox wars with myself?????
