so as not to conflate the usual 'religious wars' about
OO v. Proceduralism - forgive me - I needed some
"emotional reassurance" - I guess, that this was
consistent with the expectations and standards of
other OO coders....

maybe I need to work on 'what is beginner level' - since
to me things at the 'primatives and axiom' level
are what I use as 'the beginnings' to build 'classes' of thing....

did I just do the classical faux paux of extending
from Peano's Axioms about "natural numbers" and
moving towards establishing the axioms and primatives
for 'integers' - rather than simply taking it as
an act of faith that

        use integers;

will suffice well enough until we get to the
crisis of faith for the pythagoreans about the
failure of the hypotenuse of the unit square not
being the ratio of nature numbers - and need to
establish a reasonable model for articulating
floating point numbers????
