Hi, If I understand correctly, you want to have an image of a form underneath text written on top, to look like the text is in the form. The problem is the image is small and a bad resolution for printing, but high resolution makes it just look huge and prints on more than one page.
I am not an expert on HTML, but I think you may need to use a different format. I had to use Adobe Acrobat PDF file to get images to use a good resolution when printing on the correct size of paper. I have not tried to use databases with Acrobat files, but CPAN seems to have Perl modules to deal with parsing them: http://search.cpan.org/search?mode=module&query=PDF Someone else on this list may be more help with parsing Acrobat's PDF files if you decide to consider that strategy. I've heard that Marcomedia Flash has good printing tools, and can connect to a database by requesting a perl CGI script URL that generates the database text in XML format. Also, I've heard Java has improved their printing capacities in Java Applets, but I haven't worked with them myself. There may be a way for HTML to format better with high resolution images that I have not yet learned, - which would save you time, but the best most reliable way I suspect may be the Adobe Acrobat PDF modules from CPAN. Hope that helps, -----Original Message----- From: Omar Shariff [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, July 30, 2002 8:37 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: HTML, Urgent Hi, i correct the problem with NT, and was the server html...
