For Windows, go get ActivePerl @:

http://activestate.com/Products/ActivePerl/

and hit download (upper left). Follow the
instructions to download and install - easy!
You can take all of the install defaults
unless you have an overriding reason not to.

Once installed - open a command prompt and enter:

perl -V

If you get a lot of version information, you're in.

im totally new, i wanted to install perl just today and i have trouble doing
that. I have Win2000, IIS and have no clue how to make it run.
where can i find an installation document to get that done?
How do i get cgis to run?
