I wrote a script that generates an excel file. I tested it on a windows xp pro machine and everything was ok. When I put the script on the UNIX server and run it I get blocks on my excel sheet where new lines occurred. How can I have the UNIX Perl write out Microsoft new line characters so that the excel sheet looks normal?
