Yes you ar wrong! :) The ActivePerl download page at: http://activestate.com/Products/Download/Register.plex?id=ActivePerl Asks for registration information (they do not disclose/sell your email address) and then lets you download the package of your choice (I would suggest ActivePerl 5.8.0 (804) MSI).
