Wow, that's a big CC list.

Anyhoo, it looks like TieRegistry will do some of what you want, and you
should also take a look at the following modules:

Win32::AdminMisc (http://www.roth.net/perl/adminmisc)
Win32::Lanman (search on CPAN for JHELBERG)
Win32::NetAdmin (you probably already have it)

As for permissions, you will find it much easier to get all of the info if
you are an administrator on the machines you are connecting to.

now coming to the problem - I need the follwoing info on win32 ( which i

getting in unix systems)
I want that after getting the following info from NT machines  (pls see
queries below)

HARDWARE/OS:
HP-UX 11.11

PRODUCTS:

OVO-07.10

PATCHES:
PHSS_24945.text, PHSS_25743.text, PHSS_26179.text, PHSS_26287.text

My queries are

1) function/commands & corresponding module name
( probably TieRegistry can be used for most of them) .

2) whether for using TieRegistry for remote systems , do i need
some permissions on remote system. ?
