Sorry, my bad.  Thanks for the clarifications.  I had forgotten about my brief and 
frustrating attempts to use a scro[t that called for the shell program, and thought 
the original posters were looking for the module.  Just as well to steer them in that 
direction anyway, since the module makes a much neater mail package.
