It's often not a matter of people not wanting to answer you so much as not being able to. I personally have no experience in the area of your question. Answers on mailing lists are provided assuming that (a) the right people with the right areas of experience see your message and (b) that they can donate their time to help fix someone else's problem. Check where you define the values in your if statement.
