I have found that the reason PERL is not working is that the Apache Registry is not installed, so i typed

<  perl -MCPAN -e "shell;"
<  cpan> install Apache::Registry

i was then asked to locate where the Apache scr is, which i am not sure where it is so i typed
< /usr/sbin/httpd

i got an error message saying it is not the one, so i tried /etc/httpd. and then the operation closed saying cannot start. i tried to do the install again, this time i was not asked where the Apache src is but a

< warning: cannot install Apache:Registry, dont know what it is.
<  Try the Command
< i /Apache:Registry/ to find objects with matching identifiers.

what shall i do know, please someone help
