I would like to have a display name present in the FROM field of messages I send.
Example: Reporting Agent < [EMAIL PROTECTED] >
All the documentation I see involves an SMTP address only.
Is there an easy way to do this?
Though I am not 100% sure I am pretty certain that MIME::Lite just passes whatever you enter in teh header field's value through to the message. So you should be able to do what you stated just by using the proper format, aka like you have shown. Have you tried it? Did it not work?
