What I am eventually trying to do is get the email addresses from my Outlook
into a list. I found the following example for Eudora which I want to
adapt, unless you know an easier way:
perl -Memail::find -ne 'email::find->new(sub { print shift->address, "\n"
})->find(\$_)' file.mbx > output.txt
where file.mbx becomes something like myfolder.pst.
Having just installed Perl 5.8.0, I understand I need to install email::find
with the following command from dos:
ppm.bat install email::find
I navigated to the c:\Perl\bin directory, where ppm.bat is, and typed the
above and got: "searching for email::find returned no results, try a broader
search".
Could anyone suggest:
(1) whether I am on the right track with the above code beginning perl
-Memail
(2) how I install email::find
