I use vim on a daily basis from the command line and its syntax highlighting and color coding is very nice in my opinion. I'm not flaming here so don't take me wrong, but I heard it said once that knowledge of a language can never be replaced by an IDE. IDE's have always been a put off to me, but I can see their usefullness in many projects. Bradley
