Well, I think we have a conceptual problem here. By what magic is the link text supposed to appear if it is never sent to the browser? * How do you know it is never sent?* Do browsers running on other systems display the link text? If so, well, it probably was sent. If the problem is not reproducible, perhaps it was a temporary problem with Internet connectivity. If you cannot reproduce the problem, though, there is precious little anyone more remote from the situation can do to fix it for you.
