The FAQs for the list specifically prohibit us from
implying you "dumb dumbs" are dumb dumbs. :)

Your not. That's one reason we are here. To help
beginners find the docs. Or as the list FAQ puts it:

2.6 - Is there anything I should keep in mind while
answering? We don't want to see 'RTFM'. That isn't
very helpful. Instead, guide the beginner to the
place in the FM they should R :)

Of course the next section says to not quote the
manual in a message, so please ignore the quote above.

Ahh, Grasshopper. You must become one with the
documentation ...

Until you asked your question I had never peeked
inside 'perlhist'. In fact, I don't remember how I knew
there was such a file. It just made sense to me that
there should be a perl history file named "perlhist".
A warped twisted way of thinking is a side effect of too
much exposure to perl.

BTW, were you aware tat there is also a file named:
'perlbook'? It answers a question that pops up here
about twice a month.

: Furrfu, kids today. When I starting programming in Perl
: there was one man page, no books and no web sites. :-)

When I starting programming in Perl ...

    [Wait a moment.]

I only started a few years ago. I had everything!

When *Randal* started programming in Perl ...

    There weren't even computers yet!

    :)
