First off thanks for the URL - it is fun to watch folks do 'bench mark' work - it is a factor in sorting out how to solve 'but which language should I pick' - unfortunately that is really only one part of the problem.
As the saying goes - anything can be turned into a club - the questions then become what exactly was one planning to beat to a pulp with it.
