Hi All, I know about using the backticks and the system command and the 'open' command, but I really need the output of the cdrecord command in Linux. Problem is, it's one of those silly "interactive" tools that prints something to the screen, then writes over it, and does this again and again. I need to make a "gui" for this to tell how much of the recording has been done.
Can anyone help. Also, it seems that the output is only written when the command is complete, which obviously by that time, is well and truly done.
