i have to blast genes of human Y chromosome(104 genes)with genomes of non human species to find which genes are conserved on Y and on non-Y chromosomes in other species.and for each gene,its chromosome its 5' and 3'end location w.r.t. human Y gene and similarity percentage is also required.
if done manually,it would amount for over 3000 blasts.it would be of great help if anyone could tell me the link to a perl script or similar script , if available.
